Services We Offer

Cape Pet Sitting offers dog walks, potty breaks for pets who are home alone for long hours, vacation pet care, companionship, play time, and hotel/B&B pet sitting. Once you register online through the New Clients button, we will be in touch by email to schedule your free Client Meeting. During the meeting, we’ll meet with you and your pet and have you walk us through your routine. Once you’ve had your meeting, anytime you need us, simply choose the date, service, and time block you require, online through your account.

Pet Sits

The Pet Sit service can include dog walks or yard time, feeding, fresh water, litter and cage care, play time, companionship and our electronic visit notes. We can also bring in your mail, newspaper, packages, adjust your lights and blinds, water your plants, and even take out your trash.

Recurring Sits

The Recurring Sit service is for clients who book with us at least once a week (Mon-Fri), the same days every week, on a monthly basis. This service requires a 3 month commitment and is only offered between the hours of 10am-3pm (Late Morning Block: 10am-12pm & Afternoon Block: 1-3pm) and can include yard time or walk for your dog, feeding, fresh water, litter changes, play time, companionship & our electronic visit notes. This service is scheduled on your behalf by our office with a 3 month projection to ensure the best chances at availability.

Hotel/B&B Sits

Hotel and B&B clients do not need to register online. Instead, simply email our office with the date and time frame you need a sitter and we’ll get you set up! Once you’re set up, your sitter will meet with you when they arrive for the start of your visit. You will need to supply them with one key which we can lock in your room at the end of the appointment. If you’d prefer to meet with your sitter ahead of time, a Client Meeting can be scheduled for a $20 charge. Your credit card will be charged three-hours prior to the start of your appointment. For this service, we do accept custom visits longer than one hour depending on availability.

Additional Fees

Last Minute Fee: There is a $10 fee added to any visit needed for today or tomorrow.

Supply Pick Up Fee: We will pick up supplies on your behalf should you run out while your pets are under our care. We charge a $20 fee in addition to the cost of the supplies.

Holiday Fee: There is a $20 fee added to each visit scheduled on the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, President’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. On Major holidays, we cannot accommodate visits longer than 15 minutes, nor do we offer Hotel/B&B visits on these dates.

Cancellation Policy

You are able to cancel service online through your account, by phone, or email. We DO NOT PROVIDE CREDIT CARD REFUNDS once your card is charged and only give account credit if certain criteria are met.

If your invoice has not been paid and you cancel with more than 3 days notice from the start of your appointment, you will not be charged for the appointment.

If you have paid your invoice and you cancel with more than 3 days notice from the start of your appointment, you will receive a full credit to your pet sitting account which will be automatically applied to your next invoice. We do not provide credit card refunds.

If you are cancelling visits for today or tomorrow, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee for any visits on these days and receive a credit to your pet sitting account for the remainder of the appointment.

Once your appointment begins, there are NO CREDITS FOR EARLY RETURNS.

Major Holiday Cancellations: If you notify us less than 7 days before the start of the following holidays: Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Year’s Day, you will be charged 75% of the total appointment.

There are no fees for extreme weather cancellations in our area once an extreme weather determination is made by our office.
