Our Services

Our services cover every aspect of professional pet care from feeding, walking, litter box maintenance, cage clean up, administering oral medications, bringing in the mail and newspaper, adjusting lights and blinds, watering plants and even taking out the trash.

 

Once you register online through the New Clients button at the top of the page, we will be in touch by email to schedule your free Client Meeting. During the meeting, we’ll meet with you and your pet/s in your home and have you walk us through your routine. After you’ve had your meeting, anytime you need us, simply choose the date, service, and time block you require, online through your account.

 

Our App, Time To Pet, makes it super easy to update your account information, schedule service, and communicate with our office and your sitters. All notes for sitters and preferred start time requests must be made while scheduling or through the conversation tab of your account.

Pet Sit Rates

Prices are based on the length of time required to complete each visit. Fresh water and electronic visit notes provided at every visit along with any combination of services listed above.

To request service, you simply select 15, 30, 45 or 60 minute visits along with the time blocks in which you’d like for us to arrive. Hotel/B&B clients may be able to book custom visits longer than 1 hour when availability allows. As a convenience, we offer online scheduling and accept credit and debit card payments.

15 Minutes: $24

30 Minutes: $30

45 Minutes: $38

60 Minutes: $46

+$2 each additional pet per visit

Recurring Sits

The Recurring Sit service is for clients who book with us at least once a week (Mon-Fri), the same days every week, on a monthly basis. This service requires a 3 month commitment and is only offered between the hours of 10am-3pm (Late Morning: 10am-12pm & Afternoon: 1-3pm). This service is scheduled on your behalf by our office at a slightly discounted rate and ensures the best chances at availability.

Hotel/B&B Sits

Hotel and B&B clients must provide our office with the date and time frame you need a sitter during the account activation process. Once you’re set up, your sitter will meet with you when they arrive for the start of your visit. You will need to supply them with one key which we can lock in your room at the end of the appointment. If you’d prefer to meet with your sitter ahead of time, a Client Meeting can be scheduled for a $20 charge. Your credit card will be charged three-hours prior to the start of your appointment. For this service, we do accept custom visits longer than one hour depending on availability.

Time Blocks

Cape Pet Sitters work in time blocks. We do not guarantee start times, but will always do our best to arrive as close to your preferred start time as possible.

Morning: 7am-9am
Late Morning: 10am-12pm
Afternoon: 1pm-3pm
Late Afternoon: 4pm-6pm
Evening: 7pm-9pm

Anytime: 7am-9pm *cats and small caged pets only

*We do not offer service where a sitter stays in your home with your pets overnight. For vacation dog care, our Evening visits begin between 8-9pm and our Morning visits begin between 7-8am. This ensures that dogs never have to wait more than 12 hours to go out.*

Additional Fees

Last Minute Fee: There is a $10 fee added to any visit needed for today or tomorrow.

Supply Pick Up Fee: We will pick up supplies on your behalf should you run out while your pets are under our care. We charge a $20 fee in addition to the cost of the supplies.

Holiday Fee: There is a $20 fee added to each visit scheduled on the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, President’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. On Major holidays, we cannot accommodate visits longer than 15 minutes, nor do we offer Hotel/B&B visits on these dates.

Cancellation Policy

You are able to cancel service online through your account, by phone, or email. We DO NOT PROVIDE CREDIT CARD REFUNDS once your card is charged and only give account credit if certain criteria are met.

If your invoice has not been paid and you cancel with more than 3 days notice from the start of your appointment, you will not be charged for the appointment.

If you have paid your invoice and you cancel with more than 3 days notice from the start of your appointment, you will receive a full credit to your pet sitting account which will be automatically applied to your next invoice. We do not provide credit card refunds.

If you are cancelling visits for today or tomorrow, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee for any visits on these days and receive a credit to your pet sitting account for the remainder of the appointment.

Once your appointment begins, there are NO CREDITS FOR EARLY RETURNS.

Major Holiday Cancellations: If you notify us less than 7 days before the start of the following holidays: Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Year’s Day, you will be charged 75% of the total appointment.

There are no fees for extreme weather cancellations in our area once an extreme weather determination is made by our office.
